Your Privacy Matters

• Store your chat content, OCR text, screenshots, or AI-generated replies on our servers
• Sell your data to third parties for any purpose
• Share your device ID for marketing or advertising
• Use your data to train AI models
• Allow our AI provider to use your data for advertising
• Collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information beyond what you submit

When you tap an AI action (suggestions, grammar fix, etc.), your typed prompt — and optionally a screenshot of the conversation — is transmitted to a third-party AI provider for processing. The tone you select and your device ID are also sent to verify your subscription entitlement.

Our AI provider is contractually prohibited from using your data for advertising or selling it to third parties. Requests are processed in real time and are not stored after the response is returned.

• Clipboard history — stored locally, never uploaded
• Keyboard preferences and settings — stored locally, never uploaded
• Custom themes and layouts — stored locally, never uploaded
• Emoji history and frequency data — stored locally, never uploaded

A random device ID is generated when you first install the app. This ID is used to:

• Verify your active subscription with our billing backend
• Enforce daily usage limits to prevent abuse
• Ensure one subscription cannot be shared across multiple devices

This ID is not linked to your real identity — it contains no name, email, phone number, or location. It is not shared for marketing or analytics purposes.

When the app crashes, a crash report is automatically sent to our servers. These reports contain:

• The error stack trace and technical crash details
• App version and Android version
• Device model (e.g., "Pixel 7") — without any personal account information

Crash reports do not contain your keystrokes, clipboard content, AI conversations, or any personally identifiable information.

• Google Play Billing — handles subscription purchases. Subject to Google's own privacy policy.
• AI Provider — processes your prompts in real time. Contractually prohibited from storing or monetizing your data.
• Cloudflare Workers — hosts our billing verification backend. Processes your device ID and subscription token only.

• Delete local data — clear all app data via Android Settings → Apps → Hooly → Clear Data
• Uninstall — removes all locally stored data from your device immediately
• Opt out of screenshots — disable the screenshot context feature in the app settings
• Contact us — email us to request deletion of any server-side data associated with your device ID
